Keeping it charged is all you have to do; simply plug it in at the end of the day. How much did you spend at the car mechanic in the last year? Probably more than your entire bike cost and certainly more than an electric bike kit.

Not that price should be your main consideration. Electric bike motors may be the affordable way to get around, but be willing to spend because you get what you pay for. Avoid cheap bike motor systems. These don’t have much power or range and can easily break.

Avoid buying electric bikes or electric bike kits on eBay because it’s difficult to tell what you’re getting and you won’t have a manufacturer’s guaranty against defects. Chances are, there’s a reason they’re trying to sell it on eBay in the first place, such as the fact that they already broke it.

This way, you get the best of both worlds with electric power as well as portability. These bikes feature lightweight frames and throttle set up so you don’t have difficulty folding them back up or hauling them up stairs.

Consider the advantages of electric bike motors. Biking to work is a great way to begin the day and an excellent way to unwind at the day’s end. With electric assist, you don’t need to break a sweat getting to work and you don’t need to exert yourself at the end of the day when you’re tired and drained. Go electric. It’s the greener way to get around.
